We liberate the first Teaser of our game to be criticized. The movements had been captured through "rotoscopia" (filming in 4 angles with sicronization of frames), of the vice world champion of capoeira. I use to advantage the forum to ask the community what you know about capoeira. If already they had played, if they had heard to speak, which the spreading of the capoeira in the your country.

You needed Div X codec to watch:

Wow...that was very very good. Only thing bad about it is it makes my game look even worse.

I really like the castle, everything around it seems too empty though.
How's the frame rate there? I bet it is very low with this engine.
Also, make the lightbeams lighter, they are too "visible" if you know what I mean.

Looks like fun. Are all levels compiled with visible calculations on?

Nice video.. but its prerendered.. not real time right? (those shadows dont look like something A6 can do right now..)
Also GraphicsDesigner your comment.... currently the screenshots(or the video) dont look like somethign that would "Slow down" the engine. (i am not saying theya re not good i am just saying it would take more to slowdown the engine)
There have been things with a lot more going on and have had a high frame rate.

BronkenDream,
Thanks. all compliment is welcome.

GraphicsDesigner,
It´s not a castle, it´s a church of my city.
I´m agree, it´s very empty. We will go to place grass, and other objects.

EX Citer,
Yes.

VPrime,
Yes, it's prerendered. Because of the camera and easiness to generate a AVI. How much the shadow, you can pre-calculate and generate a TGA, use one stress to increase in the wall (this is faster than A6 Shadow).

About frame rate: fog, textures 64x64 for primitive, visible calculation, 256x256 for secund caracter, 64x64 objets, new manager system to dinamyc load map entity and entity, LOD, much LOD (all has lod), sharing textures and scales reduced. The user can turn off shaders, mirrors, video resolution, anti-alias, bit deph and clip_range. already it said that it has LOD?

Bryguy,
sorry for double/triple post.

Everybody,
One asks: You they know Capoeira?

I know of capoeira. I think it's some kind of combination of dance and martial arts right?

And i think that Eddie from Tekken 3 is using the same technique

Need help? Well go FAQ yourself!

I thought it really doesnt matter if its professional game... as long as its playable

Do you remember Noah's Adventures, which got kicked out of Showcase II despite being a complete and very playable game?
Quote:

It's advertisement...what's the matter?

No one ever said it did matter. I was just saying that it is the main point of Showcase II -- advertisement for your complete/nearly complete game. With the lack of in-game screenshots, this game looked too far from completion.
Quote:

we place in Showcase II for being a professional game

Showcase 1 has plenty of "professional" games. Games in Showcase II also need a certain state of completion.
Anyway, I never said that it belongs in Showcase 1. I was just stating that "professionalism" isn't what makes a game ready for Showcase II. Previously, no one was told that it was near completion, and the lack of in-game shots makes it look like an early WIP, despite the screenshots being fantastic.
