Epidemic Groove

I'd be interested in any feedback y'all might have about our soon-to-be-released 3DGS game, Epidemic Groove. It's an action/RTS hybrid aimed at fans of casual games, (full games take about 10 minutes to play), which centers around building structures to defend a living brain cell from pathogenic attack.

You can check out screenshots, video, and a beta demo from the work-in-progress website here.

Also, since it's 12:23am, here's a poll.

The concept sounds pretty interesting.
When I get a minute, I'll check out your demo.

The thing I like most about the games you guys make is the special effects. This one looks positively psychodelic.

I usually take medicine for bacterial infections. I'd like to take a hammer to them, but I'm not good with pain.

Looks like Inago Rage, and that's a great one! And with this new concept I can't wait...downloading...Complete!

Great! Fast paced strategy action, really really cool! Keep up the good work.

Looks like fun....but :
Where's Mark Twain ? In a bonus level maybe ?

Looking at the graphics on your website here's some more suggestions:
the outer space background, the solid colored walls, and #default texture cell nucleus don't look very biological. Take a look at Discover Magazine / Scientific American which occasionally have cool cell pictures on their covers. Or go here: http://www.rkm.com.au/CELL/animalcell.html

The base-building / attack game concept reminds me a bit of
http://www.nexagondeathmatch.com/
Maybe there are some ideas in that game that can be "borrowed" for epidemic groove.

I had so much fun playing the demo. It's a wonderful idea. Very inventive. Survival mode got pretty boring though as it didn't seem to get any harder.
