The Sex Ed Game - Project Release

ISER Games announces it's first release, The Sex Ed Game: How Much Do You Really Know About Sex? - a fun sex education game for teens. This game was designed to make having "the talk" about coming-of-age issues more fun for teens and parents, and to give educators an effective tool to engage today's youth.

The Sex Ed Game quizzes players on such issues as:
Health Risks and Sex
Abstinence and Pregnancy Risk
Ethics and Sex
Guy's Health
Girl's Health
Love and Relationships
Drugs, Alcohol, & Emotional Health
Sex in the Media

Diagrams are provided to help with questions regarding anatomy.

The Sex Ed game offers non-timed gameplay for 1 to 4 players (or teams) and allows complete Content Control and password protection for parents and educators. High scores can be saved, and the help can be found on the ISER Games website with a knowledge base and user forum. Teacher's Tools and tutorials are also available.

that's a really good idea, to make a sex education game. it's a good way to make it fun to talk about those 'coming-of-age issues'
i suggest you make it as 'fun' as possible, meaning: a lot of humor and perhaps 3d, that makes the teens like the game, and 'be educated', cuz that's what this game is about, isn't it?
keep up the good job!

Thanks, everyone for all the kind words - we tried to make it fun... well, as fun as learning about icky diseases can be *grin* and we *might* have even put a small easter egg in it somewhere.
It is nice to have actually completed a game project, finally :-)

in sex ed i was allways sitting in school browsing through porn magazines...
in english, i was brosing through spider-man books. in german, i was browsing through german spider-man books...

after a few months my teachers realized they can screw me and ignored me for the rest of the year. i got good marks for writing good tests

anyway, i told you back then this game is a good idea, and i still think its a good idea...

Hello Ladies,

Will any of you be at Futureplay this year?
I'll be moderating a panel discussion of VG business issues... it'd be great to see you represent there again and see you again!

Interesting concept for a game. I am sure that it can be useful to teenagers. But I can't help and think that this is something the parents should teach there kids and not through a game or by the school district despite the opinions of some.
But I must say that the game itself does look well done and professional. It seems that you were able to cover all of the content dealing with this issue and adding something like multiple players is a very nice feature.
In conclusion the product seems well done, yet I am just not sure this is the route to go when it comes to telling our kids about sex. Just my opinion though.
