Ok guys, The release of Intense AI and our official demo is only a week or two away. We wanted to start this thread off by showcasing our new Video tutorials that are now in production. Here is part 1 of our starter series. We will post more here in the days leading up to the release.
You can find the video here: (26 Megs DIVX)

And here is just a quick snapshot from the tutorial.

Thanks for the interest everyone..

I don't mind people asking for deadlines. But like manslayer said, i'm not really in a position to answer that right now..

Over the past month I had my laptop diying on me, so i went ahead and bought a new desktop from ebay. Now that's dead too. Hopefully I'll find out what's wrong with it soon, but until then i have no means on working on intense ai at all.

Which is really a shame. The demo is practically done. We made a full game that you can play from beginning to end. Once i had some minor things sorted out, like hitting the 32 3d sound limit and improve some of the weapons a little bit (i like the uzi to be optinally customized for an x shot burst fire with one click instead of only shooting once) and little things like that, i would be able to show you what we've been working on all summer. But looks like luck is not with us this time.

I'll keep you all updated. I know we're way off all the deadlines that we've mentioned in the past but things have went way past Ai now. We're working on a tool that will allow you to make descent First Person Shooters with no programming at all. Or use the Ai for any other kind of game.

Cheers all,
Aris

Like we said at the office for the last 6 months of development on Trophy Bass...

Me: "Agh! They added more bugs to the devtrack!"
Ken: "SHIP IT! JUST. SHIP. IT!"

(of course, yelled from offices on opposite ends of the studio)

Ahh... good times (it's in stores on the 11th, btw )

Looking forward to checking it out.

allow me to comment by using a movie line:

Eigor: ahh i remember when my father had troubles like this, the things he'd say to me.....
DR.F : well what did he say
Eigor: What the hell are you doing in the bathroom all day and night?! why dont you get out and give someone else a chance!!!

*Eigor smiles, sighs happily, and continues with his food*
*Dr.F looks away amazed at how that could be a good memory*

Larry,
sorry every time I read about your Intense Ai, you are working on
improvements of you AI. Now it's about 2 years that I follow your
threads but I think there must be a line where you have to release
a version. Improvements are good but there is always the possibility
to make things better. Don't get me wrong, shure I will buy your AI
when it's ready.
