Is the AI ready for Christams? or maybe till the end of the Year, Profesional - Price Estimate: ??.?? EUR -

Basic edition maybe ready for Christmas, but certainly not Pro. Pro will cost 199 euro, but everything can change, cause i'm not 100% on the feature list yet.

Years ago, i had the Mythic AI and in my game design documents, was a destination to make huge battles, and with Mythic it was difficult, is a fight between two groups of AI NPC possible ? If i read this " Team Tactics "

Of course. In the Mother's Den game (for those who don't know, Mother's Den is a game that has been made entirely by IntenseX and no programming) you'll be able to see your Ai friends fight against your enemies, and monsters that fight both the bad guys and your team.

Mother's Den Demo (108mb)

This is a possible ingame situation "first you speak with a npc and after this npc give you the quest "you protect a group of npc, and they follow a street to the next town, (just a example) In the middle of the way, there come enemys and attack this group of npc. How much npc are possible ? I´´ve a whole world of npc.

All of this is possible, using IntenseScript, a Pro only feature. Again, in Mother's Den you'll see very similar situations. You ask a scientist guy to take you to some prison cells where you think they may hold your sister. While he takes you there, you get surprised several times by monsters that sneak on you from behind and bad guys with Uzis that set barricades with barrels on your way to ambush you.

My question is, how good is the IntenseAI in a free open Area ? Maybe, i haven´t seen some posts with this question :-)

It will work just fine, both in open-terrain levels and indoors, model-only or with WED blocks.

Miss you too man.. get well dude.. and clear out your private messages folder

Done

And here's another update.. Yes, it's another boring panel..

(IntenseX supports 47 standard animations, plus unlimited User-Defined ones)

Cheers,
Aris

Another update:

A youTube video showing some of IntenseAI's functionality, including dynamic take cover, picking up weapons, friendly AI, hearing senses, pathfinding and various Ai behaviors. IntenseAI is part of the IntenseX package. N'joy:

sadly, the debugging information is unreadable on the youtube video, which kinda defeats the purpose of the video, but its still worth a watch...

Hi,

i'm new and buy the 3DGS, because i read about your IntenseX.
Because i'm stupid in scripting.

I'm planning to make a small and simple Shooter (Planning done) for learn how to use the 3DGS, and then make a bigger one (planning 50%).

It were nice when your Basic Version come out, i buy it immediately (so i can use it in the first Shooter).
For my Second Shooter i need the Commercial Version.

Can you please tell me when Intense AI come out?

Go on with your work, you did a great job!

Greetings Dennis

PS:
I'm sorry for my english, i'm out of training.

Hi Timberwolf,

I'm glad I inspired you to buy 3dgs and make some games. I try my best to get Basic out over here, but i'm just one guy and the work is overwhelming for what i've set to do. I don't know the release date myself, cause more often than not sh*t happens, but I can post my projected release date based on my remaining ToDo list:

Code:

1st-2nd Jan 2008: Finish with WED Panels design
3-5: Finish with Panel functionality
6-8: Import Panels Data to A7 engine
9-12: Fix miscellaneous bugs due to lite-c conversion
13: Functionality for multiple levels
14: New Levels WED Panel
15: Create FPS game to ship with IntenseX Basic
16: Add "New IntenseX Project" WED menu option
17: Add "Activate IntenseX" & "Create Pathfinding Graph" WED menu options
18: Polish Code & Panels
19: Manual: Start with Blank Project/Start with FPS game
20-21: Handle bad input in panels
22-23: Manual: Explain all panels
24: Manual: Information for programmers
25: Polish everything
26: Make installer & Upload
27: Release IntenseX Basic
28-31: Website & Automatic Key verification & new feature list

So that's my plan for IntenseX Basic. The good news is that Plus and Commercial will be released in short intervals after that. IntenseX Professional will take some more time, mainly because IntenseScript implemented in WED panels(like you see in the aum interview) is not finished yet.

By the way, for the people that didn't catch the interview in the latest aum, here's the new IntenseX video that accompanied it:

http://aum.conitec.net/intensex.avi (45mb)

In there i promote some of the most interesting features of IntenseX. There's also a youTube version, but the quality takes a big hit, so I recommend the downloadable version.

Sorry for the late response, i've seemed to have missed your post. You can upgrate from version to version, paying only the difference between the two.

Happy new year everyone,
Aris
