You can find the video here: (26 Megs DIVX)

@ Larry:
OK!
I will stop asking, so you can get IX ready for us.

For your answers, i'll wait and see. i needed, i can later upgrade to get the IXscript.
To the NPC thing. It were nice when you make NPCs so much customable as going. So that with few klicks and checkboxes we can make Enemys for Gun Turrets to Mech over Monster and Big Bosses and Tanks. For later updates...

Best regarts, Timber

i just played the techdemo for the first time, it's great, i didn't like the controls when you go up and downstairs, but the ai is pretty much perfect

i wish you good luck with this project, it seems be become a precious 3dgs addition.

Hello everyone,

I'm doing a small beta prior to the release, to test the user-friendliness of the new panel system for IntenseX. I want to know how straightforward it is to do tasks like creating new weapons and user interfaces, and maybe change the manual according to your feedback.

The requirements to enter the beta is: own A7 (even the trial version) and have an e-mail address. To enter, either e-mail me or post your e-mail address here. You'll receive an e-mail shortly after, with instructions and a link to the beta(the file's size is 122kb). This beta is for the first 10 people who will respond, and I hope to get the whole process finished by today..

Some of the tasks you'll be asked to do in the beta include the following:
Code:
Create a shotgun weapon and an ammo type for it
Create a rocket launcher and rockets
Make the shotgun available for the player at game start
Add sounds for the two weapons
Modify the muzzleflash effect for the rocket launcher
Add a "Taunt" animation
Create a new Times New Roman font
Create a Health panel, and use the new font for it
Change the window to 800x600 windowed
Add a Blackout Fog
Show a Loading Screen

I expect that it will take you about 10 minutes, to complete all tasks and report back to me.

Thank you in advance to all who apply!
Aris

EDIT:

Plz write to me in english, as I can't speak any german

4 more ppl to go, so I'm keeping this open, and will be sending out the e-mails tomorrow morning.

Thanks again to all who responded!

EDIT2:

The Beta is now closed. I've sent out the e-mails and will be looking forward for your results. PM/E-mail me if you have any questions left.

The tests are done, although I'm still waiting for a couple of ppl to send their reports. In general terms i was very happy with the results; without any manuals or documentation whatsoever, everyone was able to set up my asking game scenario with little to no problems.

We're getting very close to a release now. First I want to add some functionality to load multiple levels, and create a small game example that will come with the release version. The website is almost done and so is our new auto-verification key system..

After the release we'll start posting youTube videos showing how easy it is to create games using A7 and IntenseX.

Cheers,
Aris

Hi Larry!

I`m working hard on my project "Adrenaline" for about 2 1/2 years now. It`s a singleplayer first person shooter in Unreal Tournament style and supports the 3 game types "capture the flag", "deathmatch" and "team deathmatch". I`m using my very own scripts (including weapons, items and player). Is it possible to use the AI scripts of Intense X seperatly and modify them like I need them? In other words: Is Intense X open source?

Oh dang, I just caught up on this project, I was really interested in it for a while, a shame it's only for a7 now. Either way, looks great!
