1000th post: River Bend Project FINISHED!
Saved my 1000th for this.... Check! Check! Is this thing on? Your attention please! Nordic Epitaph Games after 2 3/4 years, Has completed and released the River Bend Project. We sold our first 10 copies at the resort last weekend. The first level is a re-creation of the River Bend Resort in Watertown Wisconsin. the other 9 or so levels are, well not real places We promised to let the forums have the game for free for a few days, also to give CC's, though I dont know how much time there will be to make changes now that we've moved on to contract work for Novint. I babble a lot, so lets just let it be. Download, play, and hopefully enjoy! Please be brutal and honest with commentary, but try and state bad AND good things if any. Theres no DirectX included with this version, and it's approx 75 MB download. Our Gift to you all... (then you'll have to pay if you miss the free download) - Ride the waterlides! - Shoot UFOs! - Fly in a Spacecraft! - Destroy the Mothership! - Try to Survive! Jason River Bend Project Free Download I'll hand the mic over to Dennis.....

eeeh...I hear this irritating sound of the UFO's everywhere, even when I'm miles away. And sometimes I can't hit the UFO's, is that correct? The world isn't very detailed, that's a pity. The gun and it's bullets are cool, same for the effect of the bullet hitting an obstacle. The gameplay is nice too, maybe some more enemies (I didn't play for long so I don't know if there are more enemies in a later stadium).

Oh, I'd say it gets a little tougher twards the end.. Please play the whole game, I like to think there's some pretty neat stuff to see... we even have a minigame on the spacecraft to play! Actually, we had the UFOs fixed so they couldnt get right up on you where you can't shoot them, In our mad scramble to organize better, we somehow missed it in the code. THAT we'll definately fix. Keep the comments coming please, it's not too often anything ends up in SC2, Let alone being given the whole game free! Make the most of it, we'd love to hear what people think! Jason

Thanks! Right now it'll be contract work for about a month on another small project, then we'll be moving on to Mini Mania, a 3D minigolf game similar to, but way better than Sierra's 3d Ultra Minigolf! Well, unless something better comes up

First let me say congratulations. Its awesome and very motivating to see some one acctually complete a game. Also thanks alot for giving us the chance to get it free Really appreciate that. I played the first level for awhile before my pc magically rebooted... Dont worry its my pc nothing with your game I cant say I could realy figure out what to do besides run around and shoot ufos...Which becomes a difficult task after being shot to heck and having that blood splatter all over the screen. Pretty cool but a little frustrating imo. I agree with the having the option to skip the introduction text as well. At first I thought my pc froze up was just about to ctrl+alt+del when it loaded. The logo is awesome tho really like the raven.. I think it was with the executioners mask on Anyways congrats and thanks alot again
