Very Neat, Ran!

I'm not a racing fan but having animals race in and of itself is pretty unique. Can't think of another game that does it to tell you the truth!

Hehe I love this!

Awesome effort man! I can see why some would say the graphics are a bit dated, but nonetheless; I think it's better to finish a complete game than to make 1 level look totally awesome.

Great effort!

ciao,
-Lennart

I love the humor. A sheep dancing and a bear being shot out of a cannon. And what is that clinging to a rocket for dear life?

I will have to go try this.

Still, the graphics are not up to scratch. Fps (or around there) camera is hard to do, so I do wish you good luck. I tend away from it for that reason.

About the Graphics:

I agree, but also consider the fact that the racetrack level is very large in quants, but it is only a 23 MB download.

Because, that cave scene really compresses nicely.

If I had a 50 MB download, then the bandwidth is too much.
Big hitters of Noah 1 like China, Czech and Turkey will crush Noah 2 in bandwidth. I know and can see the stats.
Remember my customers and my distribution methods.

Judge the idea and the "originality" of such a race, because there is no other on the market like this in either console or PC gaming.

Now to get the site going fully.

But, the graphics are not bad though. Gimme a break! lol
See the screenshot below for example.

SCREENSHOT FROM TAMAR'S TURF:
A very nice forest and sky with shaded creatures and shaded water.
Will somebody think this screenshot below is dated also?

well even then, the water could be reflective, and the terrain really needs to be made into a mutitexture terrain, I could do it for you for cheap if you wanted.

It'd be worth it. It wouldn't increase your file size by much at all (a few extra skins for multitexture) and will improve the look of your game by 100 percent!!!

As well, the changes can be made so that they run on low end machines or, as an option, you can turn them off and have what you already have in case of VERY low end machines.

I would definitely take him up on this; you won't regret it! Just make sure to include a "no shader" option to start up so that you retain the highest level of compatability.

my 2 cents keep the gameplay create better levels textures and models and you got a original fun game

it definately has potential in a world of shooter games that people seen before a 10000 times,
I played it and i must say its fun to explore the road you gave these poor creatures

and although i am not in the credits hat of for a finished product

@Ran: I haven't played your demo, but from the comments it sounds like you have some nice gameplay but the graphics are the problem.

You've found a nice niche market. Find a talented, like-minded modeler and/or artist or at least someone who likes the color of money (or find a better resource for pre-made textures) and get those graphics beefed up. I highly recommenced Dan Silverman. He's a true believer, and he gets the job done. He can't animate nor rig, but having a quality model is a huge first step. He also does level work, but I've never used him for that. He's doesn't work for free, but that issue would be left up to you two.

Keep up the good work and despite (to spite?) the criticism from certain corners keep making these kinds of games. However, I'd advise you to take any and all constructive critisism to heart and make every effort to make improvements based on them.

You have provided a superb example of how to handle negative, somewhat hateful, non-constructive comments. You're basically laughing it off. I hope it isn't bothering you inside (and you hide it). Don't do that because it will eat you up inside in the end.
