it looks really decent, what's the framerate like, and how many entities are there in total?

Looks cool, however why is an palm trees at the edges of an forest \:D

I like the overall and the colours are fit, but I would use normalmaps for the trees and add light grass shader to the ground. Then it would look very very slick and cool.

nice for an acknex shot.

art you could improve:
-bushes look a bit lost and solitary (add grass between em, or more bushes), and, if possible, add an alpha gradient to them, so that you won't get a haard edge between bush and terrain.
-shaders like mentioned above
-more interesting grass texture with a higher res
-roots for the trees
-tree bark color is awkward

other things: your scene totally lacks shodows (either precomputed or realtime)

.. meaning that, in many other engines, there would be a screenshot with shadows and normal mapping and post processing as these features were only a klick away. it was not meant to be condescending for the creator of the scene, he shows feeling for placement, atmosphere and colors. too bad the engine does not represent this in the best possible manner.

by the way. this is the wrong forum. it states "for professional qual. games" and "finished projects". this is neither a game, just a landscape, nor in any way finished.

Broozar: We've received your notification to remove this project, but I can't see a reason for this. The screens are obviously above amateur level and follow the forum rules, so why do you want it removed? When you feel that if violates some copyright of yours or something in that direction, then please contact the support with details.

i know it's looking good and is above what we are used to see. i just thought "gallery" was reserved for more or less finished projects ("if you are just beginning your project...").
as you brought us the new forum and renamed SC1 and SC2, i thought you were pursuing a stricter differentiation between projects ("WIP") and actual playable games ("gallery"). if you allow great-landscapes-only in gallery, the way to great-models-only with a nice shader is not far. but it's your board, you make the rules.

They are very nice screens, no offense, but I have to agree with Broozar here.

looks good.

Then I am allowed to make a composition of a few models and show it here? Great. I will do that next time ;\)
