Are BMAPs "padded" to the nearest higher power of 2? I noticed that the D3DSURFACE_DESC has values that are always powers of 2.
Why is this? It makes it difficult to render them with DrawPrimitiveUP.

@ jcl: Thanks. I've adjusted the uv settings to fit the texture (real_width / texture_width). Now I can use DrawPrimitiveUP to render them.
