Hey all - trying to export a model with animation from MED to 3dsMax 9. I was doing a lot of work in MED, recently acquired a copy of max, and I'd like to continue my work there as I find I can work faster and more efficiently there...can't quite figure out how to export a model and its animation successfully over to Max...

any suggestions? thanks so much!

Make sure you can get it back out of max before you go to all the trouble!

Just an idea...

I would first export each frame out to FBX, then import them into max merging
all frames into one scene.

Then I would attach a morph modifier to the first frame mesh and add the other
frames as targets.

Then I would keyframe the animations by morphing one at a time.

Finally, I would create a point cache animation and collapse it all into into a
vertex (point) animation.

Not two, not one.
