Thats it actually. Is it possible to set the center of a modell manually ? I need this, because my player must rotate in the right way and the automatically center is at the wrong place.

Open the model in Med. Look for the xyz origin indicator. Select the whole
model in polygon mode by clicking the "select all" icon. Then click on the move
icon. Move the model in relation to the xyz origin indicator until the
indicator is where you want the center of the model to be. Then save the model.

Note, you cannot move the indicator, instead you move the model. Also the way
the model is rotated in relation to the zyx origin indicator will affect the
initial orientation of the model in the game when you load it.

Its a good idea to load other models up and examine them, then experiment to
get an idea of how this works.

You can also temporarily rotate or move the model with an offset from its
current origin using code, is this what you need to do?

Not two, not one.

In case that your model has several animations:
Don't forget to deactivate the Auto Scene Range!
That's the button number 5 at the bottom from the left.
This is to avoid that your model is moved only with in a certain range of frames.

The bones need to be moved to smile

Go into 'show bone' mode to see bones then select all and move.

well:)
trust me i did this already, but i wont work.
but one question. do i need to change the model in the animation mode or not?
as soon as i move the model (in non animation-mode) in group, triangle or vertex mode, the animations dont work anymore. or do i something wrong from the start here?

Some models do that when exported from another application and the only way I know of is to rebuild and reanimate the model.
It could be the skin affecting this as it shouldnt matter at all where the model came from.
The effect could be happening through 'groups' mode in skin settings, I dont know.

I tried something similar with the character model from 'Projected Texxtures' thread, same prob but I didnt see any point in follwing it thru because it was some one elses model smile

You didnt say, but youll need to move the model downwards,
AND then move the skeleton downwards by the exact same amaount.
They DONT move together.
This must be done with animation mode OFF
