Hi, I know there are a few Cinema 4d users out there so this one is aimed at them:
I'm trying to bake the illumination of a model in Cinema 4d but when I look at the resulting texture it seems as if it's rendered every triangle seperately with weird angular lighting as a result?
strange. maybe you show what it looks like, because using a simple test object it works here
did another quick test (med shot):

hm, your shot isnt showing up here (seems imageshack is currently down). however if you think the uv is showing thru its nearly 100% its an issue with what Rich said. use for example 8Pixel for the overlaying pixelborder. this should do the trick
Well here is another attempt at getting the image to work:
In the image I put the pixel border to 1 as Rich said which as you can hopefully see did not result in the desired effect. I also tried using an 8 pixel border now the actual lines of the uv but the shading is still the same, with each triangle being lit seperately...
Which version of C4d is this? I ask because I had this problem when I first bought the program (R10), but it was fixed by updating it (to R10.111). Check to see if there are updates available for your version. Good luck.
