Hi,

I have read the basic game design tutorial from the download section but it didnt help me very much.
I am unable to achieve the kind of shadow and lighting I require. If I use lights with large radius to cast a shadow, I get a overbright circular spot light on the ground and ceiling, and if I try to use multiple lights to cast shadow, they still leave some dark spots in the floor or walls and are not powerful enough.... how can I fix this. I am trying to light up a big cylindrical hall area with big pillors in the middle of the room.

I really need some help with lighting in WED. Can anyone please post any tutorial about lighting or point me in the right direction.
ALSO - can realtime lighting preview in wed 3d viewport be enabled??

Thanks

Ankit,

Here is a basic lighting tutorial video - he just lights a simple room (cube) but it might give you some ideas about how to solve the problems you're having.

Good luck!
