Thanks so much guys! I couldn't have done it without the support on these boards. I think I must have searched for coding help a million times in the last 10 years I've been here. I hope everyone can pick up the game and try it out. I got lucky today and a really big reviewer posted one on the game(Cynical Brit) so the game got alot of attention(alot negative, but publicity is a great thing regardless so I'm really happy): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7unhl1I9Cs&feature=youtu.beEveryone can purchase the game on Direct2Drive, Beamdog, and Gamersgate now: www.direct2drive.comwww.gamersgate.comwww.beamdog.comI will be releasing the demo late tomorrow. I plan to continue to make patches to the game after release.

I agree with Cynical Brit in that there are some issues that you should definitely fix in a later patch, like the desert track whose roads are pretty much indistinguishable from the background. However, considering the size and scope of the game, it would be impossible for you to go back and iron out all of the bugs and design errors he exposed at this point. Basically, the game is finished, and it doesn't really matter much if it gets good or bad reviews (although good reviews would be nice). Just take the things you learned from this game and move on.

Nice! I enjoyed the video. While he had bad things to say, he also gave parts of the game well-deserved praise -- the kart handling, the music, cheats, settings, museum, variety.

i was going to say, he didnt say all bad. he sounded very understanding that you were pretty lonewolf on it. i'd say some things do need to be ironed out. some of the bugs, do you know what the issues are causing them? he even said, fixed up a little he could see it being a good lan favorite.

By the way, I got curious and in my hunt for more media coverage on Silas I stumbled into this quote by you: I allow players to install Silas on all their computers and play LAN without any hassle. THANK YOU for pointing out that this is how we did things before all the major developers decided to pretend otherwise!

I had some free time and played your game for a few hours. I was always a fan of Mario Kart (and am still playing it my Game Cube) and I have to say that your game also is amazing! What I loved most was the museum, which showed a man who fights for his dream to become reality! I really admire how much work you put into this game and the huge amount of excellent content the game has.
I whish you lots of selled copies and hope that you continue to create such cool games like Silas!
