I've been looking at the documentation on TEXT (at http://www.conitec.com/beta/atexte-intro.htm). It would be helpful if the names of the structure members were given. Also, if it is possible to modify the string associated with a TEXT object, I'd love to see an example showing how to do this.

The object members are listed in the manual directory under "TEXT", but they are not mentioned on single pages. You can however find all objects together in "include\atypes.h"

Thanks to both of you for the help, but I still don't see how to modify the text associated with the text object that's already displayed on the screen.

Strings are modified with str_cpy.

str_cpy((my_text.pstring)[0], "Test!");

Just look in your manual under TEXT / string.

OK. It is there. I was a sloppy reader. Thanks!
