Not true, the specs are known Hmm perhaps there's another cause why there are no emulators. But when you'd create one, you sure miss something... Then again, the last time I checked was about a year ago, maybe sony released more stuff todays days.

I think there's no emulator because you can simply use the homebrew firmware instead and go from there. Emulators are handy because you don't constantly need to transfer all the data to your psp. I fail to see what the PSP firmware can do about that. I also failed to see what you meant with 'homebrew firmware' so I assumed you meant the PSP firmware :P. There are 2 emulators so far I know, one need the psp to be hooked up (probably only renders images receiving from the psp) and the other one is relatively new. It canīt play commercial games thus well programmed homebrew games should fail too, but simple ones may work. Although the PSP is much older than the NDS, the homebrew started to grow not so long ago. Perhaps this is the case too with emulators. The hacked firmware on the PSP, the one able to run homebrew.. that's what I meant. Emulators are handy because you don't constantly need to transfer all the data to your psp. I fail to see what the PSP firmware can do about that. No, you can use the USB connection to transfer files, it really is not much of a hassle.

@Joozey, there's such a thing on the psp to have a constant wifi connection (or usb connection) to your psp and stream from your pc. I dont know the name, but i had that when developing that 3D level. i could instantly check my newest update. Even more fun, you can run any game from your pc this way as well. @Phemox, I have custom firmware 4.01 M33 running, this is a firmware that keeps up with the latest official ones, so i can play anything i like you install a 1.50 kernell addon into that firmware, and you can still run any homebrew that needs 1.50 then (like LTE ). I'm really curious about the PSP-3000 though, wanna see how that design is gonna be, because the slim and lite was freaking awefull! (with it's shiny backcover etc, it looked more like a cheap 3 dollar plastic toy, instead of a proper game-machine! :S ) regards,

i dont think sony psp, as a company, would publish an indy game anyhow. The games N+, flOw and Everyday Shooter are all indie games that are going to be on PSP as well.. So..., if your game is interesting enough, it'll possibly catch the attention of one of the Sony people. It's not impossible at all.
