Happens from time to time. I run my level, press ESC to end it, and whoosh, the 3D View in WED looses all textures. I can toggle between the non textured version and wireframe by F5 and F6. But pressing F7 does nothing. I have to end WED and restart it to get my textures back.

With which GXL library (preferences / video out) and which video card do you have this effect?

Everything is standard settings.

GXL2BASDX9A.dll and GXL2BASDX9A.dll

My video card is Geforce 8600GT with 512 Mb Ram. Driver is 6.14.11.6218 from 29.06.2007. And the level is one player and a camera plus a mesh landscape with around 1000 tris. Nothing resource eating smile

Try the following:

- Switch the GXL to GXL2BASDX9.DLL (without the "A") for the 2D and 3D views.
- Then start the engine again for the level. Check if the textures are gone after closing the engine.
- If they are, select View/Recreate Views. Does this solve the problem?

Hmm, i switched to your told GXL2BASDX9.DLL and the 3D window turned immediately into the above effect. No textures. And no way to bring them back. I have to restart WED ^^

Recreate views doesn't change anything. I tried it before.

There is definitely something conflicing.

I can confirm this problem also.
We've changed nothing in our preferences since A7.07, when we come back from the game some of our 3D views textures are gone.

Jethro.
