conitec didn't get the chance to see it! wink Spirit is not conitec.

BTW Spirit, what are you doing? JCL can still move the thread, if he thinks it is unrelated to the bug hunt forum! At least he would have seen it, and could improve SED.

indeed not very cutomer-friendly as i also could reproduce bugs with the search history (in my case even wore. SED remembers no single search folder)

(About a post first placed in the bugs forum, then moved to "the editors" and finally placed here)
Representing many of my posts about problems with the engine

First of all: Thanx my friends - I'm not allone smile !

To be honest - I don't like the whole way conitec (or some selfmade thread-controller) act with bugs (or name them how you like).

JCL (and his little group of moderators) only think about problems if WE (the paying customers) NAME the problem after we nearly FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR HIM.
Furthermore he needs a complete project to find the bugs in his engine from us.

The way conitec is updating its product is arbitrary and not compatible to prior versions (without changing the whole project in many cases).
The dominance answer is "Your level is wrong", "Your script is wrong", "Your light is wrong", ... BUT IT WAS NOT before the update - otherwise we had posted it BEFORE!

It comes in my mind WE ARE ALL KIDED QUALITY ASSURENCES FOR this engine.
This is far away from a professional product - enhanced with JCL's cynical character - [zynical]very funny - hahaha![/zynical]

mercuryus (capitulated to post bugs in this form)

PS: and now delete/move this post wherever you like...

Have you been forced to post bugs? I don't think so. And it's normal in industry, that there is a public beta test and that customers can report bugs. How to handle those bugs is not your problem, it's Conitec's. So if you are not satisfied with the product, why are you still here? I really don't get your problem.
If you want to contribute to improve the product, post bugs, if not, drop it.
