@mercuryus: You have to differentiate two things. The way bugs are handled in the forum and the way bugs are handled by Conitec.

First way: Kids...sorry... members like Spirit (and other) are not able enough to be a moderator. So Conitec should take care about that. A moderator should have a good amount of knowledge about the engine. HeelX and Ventilator are perfect candidates for such a job.

Second way: No comment. You know what i think... wink

Would you mind reposting the report, that jcl anyhow can have a chance of looking into it? wink

No one is perfect, maybe Spirit misunderstood something in it and we can resolve it easily.

Maybe Conitec should employ someone who tries to reproduce any reported bug. Would also save jcl a bunch of time. hmm.. money makes the world..

@old_bill: I'm not liable for the mistakes of a moderator or conitec and it's not only a post about what happend this time but what happen (too) often with bug reports and/or suggestions.

PS: the starting (and moved) post in the "bug hunt" thread is already deleted - that shows me (and approves) the way I think. smile

No one wants you to be liable for anything here, but without information, we can't see whether there is help possible or not. wink
It's up to you if you really want a chance to solve it now or not.

EDIT: That's an automated function, when you move a thread you can set up a timer and after it expries the pointer will be deleted.

ya , reporting bugs could definatly be handled better , instead of a pat on the back , users seem to get a slap in the face , not good
