AS the topic suggest. If anybody can hep me I would be greatfull. The problem is, I add an alpha channel to a tga
but PSP still saves it as a 24bit and not 32bit with alpha.

So how do I go about saving as a proper 32bit with alpha.
All I get in the save as is 24/32 bit.

If I save as a png it works fine. I have a registered version.

If no one knows it really doesn't matter, I'll just keep using
png format for all translucent stuff. On that note
is there any copyright resttrictions using png?

png its the best, and it can be less in kb than tga. there are bugs on tga formats, both on photoshop cs3 and corel paint shop pro.

I have only PSP 9.

- create a new mask layer
- paint your alpha channel in the mask layer
- Menu "Layer"->"mask save/load"->"save mask in alpha channel"
- Menu "File"->"export copy as..."
- export options: choose 24bit as color depth

Yeah I did that all that, But in MED in texture options it keeps
saying it's only 24bit. Even when I choose 32bit then select alpha the transpareny still doesn't work properly.

But with png format it works as it should. Hmmph, Go figure.
So rather than waste time trying to get TGA working properly it's easier and quicker to just save as png.

Thanks everybody for your input though.
