Hi.

As the topic says I am currently trying to create a house following the WED tutorial which I've found on the official website.

I did everything like it was said but it seems like I missed something. When I create a house and don't add any lights ... shouldn't it be completely dark?

The deal is that I've added one light and it throws some shadows but anyway the room has a certain level of brightness itself. Do I need to "turn off the lights" somewhere?

Cause when I remove the light I've created, it anyway tells me while building that there is one direct light.

Thanks for any answers, that can bring me forward. smile

hi Butzki,

I done know if this will help you any, but I would go to file/ setting(I think) amb. light. set all three to about 10 and go from there to where you want it.
higher you go, more light, lower you go less light.

Hi.

Thanks for the quick reply! After two days of trying and trying I gave up and thought my only chance is to ask here.

But of course once I did I now found out myself. crazy

After I now changed the Map / Sun settings it appears the way I want it to be. smile

But thanks anyway. grin

I wish you a nice evening anyway.

Greetings,

Butzki.
