Gamemaker is 2D and will still need programming, to achieve 3D is ever more difficult.
If you wish to make it in GS then i suggest you learn lite-c or use some sort of template as you will still need to program to make it how you want it.

Well, for the purporse you're describing - making multiple choices - I guess the easiest way is a text adventure. Therer should be prette much tools online, who will do much better and easier for this task. GameStudio is really to much of a mature 3D Engine and Development Kit for a simple text adventure. If you really want (Do you really NEED them?) to have 3D graphics GameStudio might be a good choice. It contains templates that might fit your purposes. However, programming will most likely be required to adapt things to your needs. I'd suggest downloading free edition of lite-c and MED. You can then test if you'll get your feets wet with programming.
Always learn from history, to be sure you make the same mistakes again...

Use latest RPG Maker: cheap, easy, good for dialogs, no programming at all.
What kills me not, that makes me stronger.
