Hi: Upgraded to A7 Comm, XP
I recently adquired a model 'Mosque2.mdl' from DEXSOFT.
I'm not a modeler nor artist so, the MED for me is more or less of no real use. frown
When loaded you can see portions of the other side of the model at any angle. It is the first time because I have used many other models from the forum and they are OK including the free ones fron DEXSOFT. Its not transparent you simply can see the other parts. The settings are OK. Im not altering any setting...alpha, lighting..etc. Do i need to use another format?

Is it possible that the "normals" are set improperly?
In MED, move your mouse over the menu strip until you come across one that lokks like >|< . This is the normal flip button. If you let your mouse hover over it, a tooltip should say nomals. Select the entire model and then click the normals button. It will turn the model inside out, which might make them outside out for you.

Normals just set which direction the faces of your model face.
Cheers.

Mark
