EDIT: Its not there anymore - apparently, the legal department of LucasArts didn't approve! How about we talk about something different, yet related - like the creation of a good puzzle?Given that you probably celebrated the tenth birthday of Grim Fandango like everybody else, you might be interested in this - A document neatly outlining the puzzles of Grim Fandango, as well as a bit of a story overview. Quite interesting for us wannabe-game-developers!
Now, in case you haven't figured it out by yourself, that means SPOILERS.
Also, I haven't read it all yet, so if for some reason the latter parts are all naughty pictures (which I assume is not the case, but everything's possible), I wouldn't know, so og there at your own risk.

Perhaps this post will get me points for originality at least.

It seems LucasArts took it down, at least that what comes to my mind. There's no way he'd take it himself for some random reason |:

Well... if thats not obvious... then I don't know what is! Oh well. Since most of you probably didn't get to see the document, maybe we should talk about something similar? How about the creation of a good puzzle? That's actually quite interesting. How and when to drop hints, how to make sure that its possible to solve several puzzles at the same time in a linear environment, etc. etc.

Heh... I had a feeling that you would be one of those who are especially interested in this! In hindsight, I really don't feel so bad now that I had such a hard time with some of these puzzles. Heck, some are horribly obscure! Speaking of adventures, I obviously know of The Disenfranchised™, but who else is working on an adventure game here? I am. Hah!

I once made an adventure on the C64, but is wasn't really that good. A lot of work, though, and I don't know if I could do such an adventrue nowadays. No idea how I was able to work concentrated on one thing for over 10 hours when I was 14 or 15... But I hope that in the future there will be some more adventures - epecially with 3DGS. It's a section which is more or less ignored by the big companies nowadays, so there's a real chance for the indie developers. See it that waY: I have a firend normally playing the latest X360 games and all that stuff... but actuall yhe has bought several adventures which really started out as small project, because he loves those adventures. So I guess there is a market to fill
