The tile window function has the problem that it tiles ALL windows. That's not always what you really want. all windows that are currently minimized don't get tiled. so it's possible to choose the ones you want. i think there are more convenient window management tools though if you google a bit.

The price isn't the point. at www.snogard.de 24"-26" are available from ~€350.- to ... For this I also can have 2x22" monitors But for 2 monitors I will need a new video adapter also I think working with 2 monitors is the better choice but playing (or video) is more fun with a big screen. A big screen would cover my view through the window (what is very relaxing for the eyes from time to time! *sight*
