Creating Surface Texture with Photoshop Brushes

I've gotten a few emails from people who wanted to know how to use these brushes to create realistic surfaces. I created a quick video that shows a few techniques. It is raw and unedited but should give you a few ideas. Please let me know if you find it helpful.

There is a preview version and a high res which will play in popup window. You can also download the file for offline viewing - which is the best option for me as it saves my bandwidth. (the download file will finish uploading to filedropper.com in another hour and then that link will be live as well)

One thing that would be useful, is an addition on making
texures like this tileable. I use the offset filter, and then
the healing brush to make tileable, but the results are never
as good as I want. Maybe you have a better way?

I hope you find a new host for the download version, although
the online version worked fine.

I appreciate the offer. I have space on the server but large files like that can eat up anyone's bandwidth. If I add more videos I may take you up on that. I am uploading the file to FileSavr.com now to try. They have a 99 cents per month 5GB account that sounds too good to be true but I saw it reviewed on a few sites so guess its real.
