Hello, I am Ryan. i am the CEO of Sleakerstill productions. Currently we are working on a 3rd person, RPG called Project Combat Tiber. This game takes place during the Medieval times. Around the Renaissance. I will post up screen shot of our models and of many other things relating to the game. We are a small production I am only 17 but I have saved up and have $500 right now. we are currently making a website and a forum. We have just started making this game about 1 week ago but we are already working hard and making progress!=) So far we have 6 members including me. We are looking for programmers that at least know something about programing. The money we make will be split. It may sound dumb but its not, email me ASAP to join the team. Or add me on MSN at iceapoo@live.com. I will update this to tell you what our website is so you may if you like check it out post a comment test try our game or just look around.
Thank you for reading this.
I would really appreciate an email.

Don't flame... it's pointless, and it makes "noobs" like me only mad and frustrated.

Maybe I should bet on him with 1$
The little the chance is that he finishes the game the ratio will be 1000:1 or higher. Not much too loose on my side.

So, how's your project doing Michael..? :P

Dissing noobs has frankly become as boring as the noob's post themselves. Deep down, me, you and Sleakerstill all know there's a ridiculously big chance of this failing but why take the 0.00001% chance that it will succeed and along with it his only motivation for actually working on his game? Because, let's face it, we're all hoping to be able to make a living out of our hobby here.. who wouldn't?

At his age I was also working on an RPG and if someone would come and tell me: "Yeah, this project will fail.. and the one after that.. and the one after that... But don't worry, in 7-8 years you will need all the experience that you've gained now to actually make some buck.." Well, I'd probably be a fisherman by now.. But because for every single project I've made I had this crazy hope that i'll sell billions and spend it on chicks, drugs and expensive cars, that's the only reason I managed to get some programming skills out of it to be honest..

So, anyway.. Sorry I've also implied you ain't gonna make it Sleakerstill :P. Prove us all wrong and help mk_1 make a thousand bucks..

My cent's worth..

It took me some while to figure out the connection between /b/tard and bastard or retard, but I think I got it now. :P
Either way, íf Ryan manages to create a game, I owe MK_1 a dollar, which isn't such a bad thing (I'm still thankful for the shader lessons in the IRC channel, 2 years ago :P).

/b/ i an image board where all the users are anonymous, and many internet trends were started, or exaggerated there.

While I'm all for positive encouragement, I think Michael_Schwartz does have a point. After all, no offense to Sleakerstill, but the post does appear to be a job offer. I would not want to accept a job that did not appear to be secure and professional. Maybe Sleakerstill will create his project, but I'd have to invest hundreds, possibly thousands, of hours into a project, perhaps some money as well. I had better be sure that the project has a chance of success, has some return at the end, to make the time and money worth it.
