wow...guys i really thank the people who are not total flamers...
yes this is a paid position you will get more info if you email me. and guys who dissed me you will be sorry... if we get this project to finish then YOU are the one who will be crying them selves to sleep at night wishing you would not have made that nasty comment and joined the team. i mean whats the point of dissing me if you don't know me, haven't seen what I have been working on. Don't make a stupid comment. when i was 8-9 i started coding Moparscape servers its with java but it was a start... at age 15 i started this. I'm not a complete expert but I know what to do when it comes to c and c++... next time don't bother to make the comment it would be very nice...

ok, my team members are really only good at story writing and model design. they are decent artists and i have 1 programmer other than myself. so its kind of hard doing this lol but i am pretty good at it but it might take a while to do it, i am working hard. if you would like to see what I've done, email me at gunitscape@gmail.com or add my MSN iceapoo@live.com.
Thanks for the comment.

I'm sorry if I sounded like I was flaming you. That wasn't my intent. I was simply stating a reality. If someone posts a job offering, they need to provide evidence that the job is secure and rewarding. And maybe you did in your website or maybe you have more information to email interested parties. Just have something for us to see that the project won't tank in a week.

My advice? If you want programmers, you and your teammates should get together, get parts of the game developed (models, levels, concept art, etc) and then put them on public display so we know what we are signing up for.

All the luck to you and your team. I'm sure with the proper motivation and enough work, you can produce this game.

yea, you are right. I will post some pictures of the models I created. that will be later after I edit the textures and everything. Thanks for you advice I really appreciate it. This may take a while to get this game out as a rough copy, i will make sure to send you the first copy I have. I am editing my first and main character now. ill send you a picture of him when I'm done. Again Thank you for your advice.

Actually I moved the topic because there's almost no information on the game.
Split pot on release is a nice thing but who knows IF you finish the game? This only works with people who've gained a lot of reputation.
If you're a good 3d artist save your 500$ for the programmers.

Search the gamedev.net forums for a sticky post on how to post a job offer and then try again.

Good luck with your game!

500$ is not enough for a big RPG. You even need much more for software licenses. And what about the artists, textures, hardware? You need some regularly incoming money. So better make a flash-game first using the 500 $, sell it and use the money from this game for bigger projects. At the end you can finance a RPG.

is that solid enough to make a full game? (i looked at it a while ago, but never deep enough to tell if it was capable) If so, I might get it soon.
