Hi.

I have a problem with creating MDLs from 3DS files.
I have read in a couple of posts that there seem to be some problems when importing 3DS models from MAX.

I export a model from MAX (completelly legal copy) I then import it in MED and the model shows fine. I save it as MDL and then when I launch the game the model doesn't show.

I still have this problem and I don't know how to fix it.

Does using DDS textures instead of TGA work?

How did anyone fix this problem?

Is the engine being updated to fix this problem? I think 3DS is a quite common file format and shouldn't be ignored.

I don't remember having this problem before updating to 7.50 I recently updated to 7.60 but it is still not solved.

Any clues anybody?
