From what I read about the subject many many years ago ( smile ) we are nothing but a toy, an exercise for a child to create and determine simulations, smile

Now some guy says it could be true ?

Apparently the toy has been discarded and we are a memory of the experience, probably due to extinguish around the Mayan calender expiry, somewhere around 2012
he, he ,he....

Since it is only a baby with godlike abilities, why not get a collective appeal together and ask the child, baby thing to preserve the exercise ?

woops....reboot!

It's a misunderstanding that the Maya thought the world would end in 2012, they just found it unimaginably far ahead in the future, too far to take into account in their calendar.

It's like printing paper calendars that go all the way to the year 3260. A year that far in the future has no tangible value. In fact, it remains questionable whether the Bak'tun calendar even ended or has an end according to the Mayans, probably not as it's a. a long count calendar and b. the whole doomsday theory is just a modern claim based on not having found any calendars taking into account dates beyond that. Basically it means nothing.

Eschatologists love ancient cultures though when it comes to their doomsday theories. It's still crazy bladibla talk no matter which culture believed what.

It's really not like we've actually spotted the giant astroid or planet in space that's heading this way to wipe us all out or something similar either. Of course, the only thing that matters is the theoretical chance of it happening.

I think the changes wrought by such disclosures ignite new lines of thought and thus, creativity.
Paradigmes usually occure when a sufficient number of minds grasp hold of concepts and live them.
The foundation for computer based games alone would be evolving to accomodate such concepts, let alone writers etc.
So I think this sort of stuff does matter in a seriouse light but in the light I assume you are taking, yes, what does it mean to me now?
It wont help resolve my coding issues.....ah well...REBOOT!
