How many of you smoke cigarettes/cigars, not weed? What cigarettes brand you smoke? Why/how did you started? Does it calms you down? Do you plan to stop and are you trying already or it is just a plan?

Do you plan to stop and are you trying already or it is just a plan? 1) Yes, I smoke cig's. 2) Brand name is not relevant. The nicotine and tar levels are comparatively very low. 3) I started along with one of my brothers when I was very young - probably because it was forbidden for children yet acceptable for adults. This was probably further propelled as a young teen by my friends since I looked older then they did and could buy cig's without being asked for proof of age. 4) Yes, the nicotine does provide some calming affects. I also find that it provides some mental stimulation to clarify my thoughts. I drink alcoholic beverages very rarely, and do not partake in mind altering pharmaceuticals. 5) I did actually stop smoking once about fifteen years ago. I didn't have a cig. for six continuous weeks until I had off-hour system support calls for three days straight (essentially, I was awake for 72 hours). I will stop smoking one day. Then again, I will die one day as well.
