Ok to start off i am not looking to buy this just yet, it may be a while from know it may be soon i just need to get price estimate so i can see how much i am actually going to spend on this project. I already know i am going to be buying models so i need to see how much i am going to be spending on interface design since i am horrible at 2d art, actually art in general.

The Interface art will be for an fantasy/medieval RPG game.

So here is what i am looking at. I am going to need basically a whole interface design including the following:

Panel that holds player info like health, energy, level, name and portrait.

Health/energy bars

Inventory Bag(with some slots but i can use that to make more myself)

Spell Bar(s)

Spell Book

A character panel that holds attributes

Various buttons

Basically just think of a rpg that you have played and all the panels that go into it and that's what i need.

Like i said i don't need this know and am only looking for an estimate. I might end up doing this my self if it comes out to be too much because i am already going to be spending money on models.

hmm, well that depends a lot on a few things


how much of the layout do you have done (ideas for the setup of the buttons)

how much concept art have you to start with, or will that be done by this artist

what type of detail are you looking for

what type of budget are you looking at

and finally, what time frame would the project need to be finished by


after these are answered, i can probably give you a pretty good estimate of what i could do for what price.

I have the layout and like what goes on the panels and such. I don't have concept art basically as long as it all fits together and its fantasy/medieval style i am fine with it. I would want fairly good detail, it doesn't have to be amazing detail but i don't want it to look like its a cartoon game. The time frame wouldn't matter can adjust to the artists schedule, they can finish it anytime as long as its done within like a year lol. As for my Budget i am not sure yet because i still haven't scoped out all i need to spend on models.

Could you give an estimate? I also have to see what i am going to buy first because i started buying models already and the programming part is going well so i am trying to find the price i will need to spend on models and this design. Maybe then i could not buy a certain model pack or something to fit this in.
