Hi,

My models all look fine in WED, and also when I check them in MED, but some of them are showing up in the built version as semi-transparent.

Changing the textures from 32 to 24 bit isn't helping in this case, the models are still transparent.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

T

Just convert your textures to .bmp

GS is supposed to take .png, .tga, .jpg, etc. Anyway, I just now used a .bmp instead, and there was no change.

.png, .jpg cant be used for textures because they are unsuitable formats. Use either .bmp, .tga or .dds.

I may have missed one, but you should stick to .dds if you can.

Assuming you have your own script running under the level,
double-check all flag changes to the problem entities.
Be VERY sure of the syntaces used in case a simple typo,
or bad convert from c-script is scrambling the flags and
accidently turning the TRANSLUCENT flag on.
