Thanks. MED crashed on initialization of the GXL. But at the moment I don't know where exactly.
Can you still carry out the following steps?
1. Delete MED.CFG file.
2. Try to start MED again.
3. If same problem, move Gxl2BasDX9.dll and Gxl2BasDX9a.dll in to other folder and try to start MED only with GXL2BAS32.dll.

*** OFF!
I tried every single piece of nothing and it doesnt work! I had 5 PCs and 4 of them had ONLY testversion!
They got NEVER EVER contact with any gamestudio version! And all the 5 computers ARE not cheap products! So they have everything! I dont think that 2000 Euro PCs are not enough?
You really broke my programmers heart and i wont use this junk >:(
Thanks Conitec!

Maybe, the solution is to buy a legal version? wink There were two warez versions and both dont work...

If one had legally bought a software and it really would not work on his PC then everyone in such a situation would contact the support and get either help or his money back.

I think you didnt read the whole thread but no problem!
LOL? That would be scam if trialversion doesnt function but full version does!?
As i said, maybe 1 Computer COULD be infected with warez because it was one of my friends bought software! The other PCs werent made for gamestudio! DONT think because of their hardwareniveau ,NO!
I installed the trialversions on 4 of them and NO MEd worked. I did every Single Word here what the Man here said, thx for help, but
if you see, what MED can does and BLENDER!
More than 200 Dollars for a professional programming device and thIs little baby included??
They made the MED so ugly and bad with purpose.

Well i ll never buy the professional version till they bring USEFULL correctly functioned Software.
This will come maybe in 3 years... -_-

i just... idk..

everyone here can run med even with crappy $500 laptops... and you are the only one who can't run MED in 5 hi-end machines...

This is definately not about software, it's about you doing something wrong.

One of the two warez versions, 7.05, changes the registry of your PC for overcoming the trial limitation. After that change, normal Gamestudio versions won't run anymore on that PC.

The only solution is to reformat the hard disk, and then reinstall Windows. Merely installing Windows won't do because it preserves the registry.

In the future, better don't install warez software... in your own interest. Buying 5 2000 EUR PCs and then installing warez on them is not a very clever act. The legal MED version runs on all PCs, even very old and cheap ones.

even if 1 computer COULD be infected?
it can not send a virus thingy to my other computers?
I did all the things you all said on all computerS:
deleting hard disk
GETTING new one with only 160 GB NEW harddisk!
reinstalling windows Xp and the other ones vista premium
then did the above gxl dll problem on all ,nothing functioned!
installed all graphik drivers, motherboard, sound card, network card, etc etc(i am not that stupid)

Let me ask one question:
During my logged off time i got an OLD MED,older than the warez version you all holy presented!
And it functioned!!!!!
Second weird problem: I have an much older MED version(LEGAL BOUGHT),which is 4-5 years old and it FUNCTIONS too!
verry weird o.O´?
only your newest doesnt function! does there exist a bann function or something like this? it looks like!!!

No, there is no ban function. We can disable updates for misbehaving users, but we won't disable their versions. Deleting the hard disk is the correct method to remove the warez traces. Maybe some other software on your PC causes a DirectX problem that in turn prevents MED from running.

But MED can run even without DirectX when you follow the above suggestions by Wlad.
