Edit: more so what you lot put in your portfolios.
I was thinking that showing off some models i have made, some websites and maybe i will give a shot at drawing.

Portfolio should show to the viewer what you are good at. Don't add half assedly done models or drawings of stick figures.
Add the best works you have. Add everything you want your employer to see, still keeping it compact. Make CV.
EDIT: I myself have put some of my models, my best colouring and drawing works and will make some videos to show my scripting/programming skills. Not online yet though.

Thanks guys here are my ideas so far.
I am planning on having some screens of in-organic models, and some screens of their creation process.
I am also planning on making a tech demo showing my modeling, coding and animation skills.
And i am also going to write a small essay on why i want to do the course (influences etc. that kinda thing)
Also thinking i would include some 2d images i have created, and maybe some hand drawn designs.
Then last maybe some website screens.
This is for a paper based portfolio version (except the video)
So does that seem enough?
Also do you think i can create most of that by march the 6th

What you put in a portfolio depends on the portfolios purpose. For example, if someone wanted to get a job designing environments for 3D games, then they might not put much in their portfolio showing vector graphic logos that they have designed. You can do it but, frankly, the hiring agency is not going to want to see that. If, on the other hand, someone is looking for an art director, then they might want to see how many different things you can do. In this case, a smattering of this and that would be called for.
If the idea behind the portfolio is to attract work, then you need to decide the kind of work you want to attract and display that in your portfolio. This goes beyond whether you want to do modeling and, therefore, display models in your portfolio. It may be that you want to get a job designing real-time 3D creatures. Then it would be good to have many of the images in your portfolio display a variety of 3D creatures created for real-time 3D content.
In other words, you need to think about what purpose the portfolio is going to serve and then design it, just as you would any piece of artwork, to fulfill that function.
