Hi, I have problems using the Parallax Occlusion Shader. I know the causer is the normalmapping-Skin but I dont know how to save them properly so they will work together with the Shader.
So, can someone tell me what I need to pay attention to at these pom-Shader? The other Normalmapping Shader are working fine (just by creating a normalmap with gimp-plugin or crazybump, etc..)
Thanks really much

For occlusion, you must have the height map in the alpha channel of the normal map. The bey way is, first you create a height map, then you make a normal map from it and then you copy the height map into the alpha channel.

Hey Esper, do you know of any tutorials for using that Nvidia filter for creating normals that are Gamestudio Specific? There is so many options in the filter config, I want to know which settings are the best for use with the 3DGS shaders.
PS Im VERY new to to playing with the shaders..... Be gentle.

The picture is just a testimage... You need to visualize your skin-pic there ^^
I think that filter needs to test every function.. i change little things every normalmap i make. At the end, i play with color,contrast,brightness-effects on the original skin... AND THEN i use that filter.
