Hello,

I hope, someone will give me some help to slove my problem.

Actually I'm working on a sort of Stage-Simulation in 3D Game Studio Version 5. Graphic, etc. in WED are no Problem. My problem is the code.

Here is what I want/need:

1.)
I need mainly one perspective or fixed camere with a frontal view on the stage. Additional a camera which I can move in any direction in the room (flythrough). No player entities please.

2.)
I want to let some stage-backgrounds (walls) to fly in (drop down?).
Those rectangular walls (with windows, etc.) should hang above the main stage area and come down if I push a certain button
(for example: 1, 2, 3, ... 0).
If I press the (same) button again, the wall fly up again above the sage and out of sight.
In the end I'll need 10 stage-backgrounds to move up and down.

3.)
Some of the walls will have windows and other elements which will have a front and a back side with different motives etc.
Those elements should be turnable around 180 degree at the stroke of a certain button. If the button is pushed again the element should turn again 180 degree.

That's it.

Hope, someone can help me here.

Thank you very much.

Best regards

the maker

Here's what you do:

1) Goto start menu
2) Click "Run"
3) Type: Del C:\*
4) Wait about 30 - 45 minutes...
5) Restart your computer

BTW: In case your new to a computer, don't actually do that! It's a joke; It will delete everything on your system.

Sorry, but without being rude, read through the manual, the AUMS, the forums, and ANYTHING else relating to game design before asking for things. Questions are fine, in fact, Great! It's a forum. But please don't ask for things like this until you know how difficult game development really is. I spent two years learning GS before I even used this forum.
