Hallo,

in der aktuellen Ausgabe (4/09) des Internet Magazin gibt es auf der beigelegten CD die Trial Version von Camtasia Studio 3 und einen Link zum Anfordern des Freischaltschlüssels für die Vollversion.

Laut Hersteller läuft diese Version nicht unter Vista. Bis auf den Menüpunkt "Video produzieren als..." scheint aber alles zu funktionieren.

Wenn man dann noch Zugriff auf ein XP hat, kann man diesen Schritt auch dort durchführen.

Does camtasia anything that fraps can't do?
I ask, because I already own fraps.

Camtasia allows you to select a region on your window, not just a DirectX output.

In Window selection mode you can chose if you want to record the whole application or only a subframe (like wordpad or just the white textarea within wordpad)
You can edit the recorded work with camtasia tools which are included (fraps doesn't have this feature)
After editing you can export your recording as avi or as flash export including html page ready for upload to your website.
I did not check the CD creation section which allows you to create even menus.
These are features from the old version 3 - I don't know about the features in the current version 5.

Sorry, reine Angewohnheit! Ich habe es nicht bemerkt! There are such a lot Germans who 'talk' in threads in English with each other without a single participant who has English as native language!

Naja, hat dann aber auch den Vorteil daß Englisch-sprachler auch den Text verstehen.
Ich finde auch Englisch schreibt sich schneller.

Es handelt sich aber um ein Heft, welches in Deutschland vertrieben wird. Da ist der internationale Gedanke eher unwichtig.
