besides the fact that the video camera's microphone is totally for the trash:
All the guys in the back are moving around and playing as if you were playing some heavy rock song, yet I only hear the main acoustic guitar.
And you are singing the song quite differently than any version I have ever heard. Sounds strange, it's a classic that is supposed to be kept original.
Anyway, not bad.

Ok, i suppose i don't know to take that lol, but that was just the sound test kinda we were still setting up the amps etc.
And yeah the mic sucks a lot, we are probs going to do a proper recording soon, although i have a better version which i have problems uploading to youtube (if anyone can help would be good, i have got the file down to 30(something)MB.
And yeah doesn't help that the majority of us (three out of 5) are used to playing faster songs, and heavier so it didn't really suite us.
Props to you for doing it. I've invested a few thousands into equipment for my son and it hasn't gotten out of the basement.
The singing in this vid was on key and everyone kept in beat.
This is more of a 'Guns and Roses' version and the lead guitar is no way near Rooster's capability (especially during the solo bit - the notes sounded flat for most of it). IMO, the mic distortion really hurts. Michael Schwarz is right. The instruments aren't balanced with each other. The keyboard over powered the rest of the instruments and I barely heard the drums or the bass at all.
I'm not saying anything here to discourage you guys, rather to provide opportunities for improvements.

The show was played better, although we had a band on before us and they turned my amp down and therefore the solo couldn't really be heard, but it was ok, people said we were good, didn't win though.
But it was fun, and it was the first time us lot had done a show together, as we were only formed a few weeks before, practising about 2 hours a week XD
