Okay. Still, it seems weird to me that A8 isn't close, since A7 is already at version 7.7 or something, which is pretty close to 8. But I guess that doesn't mean anything.

A7 skipped some version numbers - our publisher asked us to jump from 7.10 to 7.50. Thus the current A7 version is in fact in the 7.3 range. But the version number has anyway nothing to do with the release of a new version.
