Two questions

1) I watched a video tutorial, and this guy made a hollow cube in WED, and placed a human model in it. My problem is I don't know where he got it from. I open 'add model' and only see an earth model. Where can I get some models? Are they free?

2) I read another tutorial on WED, and the guy said he looked at photos and stuff before he started designing his level, but then it showed a picture of his level, and it looked really good. My problem is nowhere in the tutorial did he say how he got the walls, floor, lights, grate, any of that. This sort of relates to the first question, but do you have to make these in MED? If so, is there a tutorial on MED anywhere?

You can learn all the same things from the manual that comes with the studio suite.
@ ways to creat levels,
1. Use WED, create blocks and shape them with transform tools (move, rotate, scale)then add a ,wad file from the texture manager(go to default wad, right click in it and choose wad manager or similar, then click it and you should find yourself in the wad folder within the GStudio directory with 'standard.wad' available for selection.
This is where the textures come from for now.
select an object in WED the double click the texture to apply it. (lots of options available in most actions so experiment)

2. open MED and model a level as best you can (just to get a start and and a familiarity basis going), save the file into the place where you have saved your level then from wed, right click window space (any view) and select 'Add' then choose model then your file, set it up in WED, apply polygon flag, place an object (any model, even a basic box) and add actions for player (prob from template) and your good to go smile

Use the 'manual' Luke, the manual is your friend. 'Self reminder' smile
