Hello,

I have tried the volumetric fog from AUM 30 and I'm not really happy with it. No matter how many layers I make the segmentation is still visible (by many I mean up to 20).

I am not sure if there is a better way to make creepy floor fog because when I wright Fog in search there is nothing there.

Is it possible to just change the xyz parameters in standard fog?
Thanx smile

You can use WED blocks for the floor and set the 'FOG' params for it before building to get floor fog. Not good!
The next may be to see user 'ello' threads and find his skyfog script to see if it can be adapted otherwise, I m like you, dont know of anyway to make good creeping fog EXCEPT if you took the time to make fog sprites, write or get controller scripts for them the use them by placing them in the level to be made visible when player approaches.

Sprites can be set with animation frames and played as well as faded in and out etc.
All of which means that with a lot of work, you can get pretty close to the effect you are after.
Sorry if its not much help.

Thanx for reply,

… so I guess it's a lot of work to make floor fog look good. I tried few more things but nothing seemed to work well... volumetric fog looked even uglier when I placed sprites over the water surface.

Thanx again for your interest smile
