No I dont think it is (as Quadraxas is pointing out) because A7 up-to-date requires specific syntax even if you are using .wdl scripts or it throws errors at you faster than you can blink!
Still, I relearnt using A7 and .wdl with common sense and it works great most of time but lots of research on syntax rules and structures would have been really helpfull.
There was an old thread about migrating from .wdl to lite-C, I dont know where it is now anymore and as said, the workshops will have you up and at em faster than any other method, believe it or not
