no he always goes to the nearest. But not to the nearest path. He goes to the neares item by vec_dist. I'll look into it, maybe there is an mistake.

No mistake, it does what you say. But I know what darkinferno means, if you look at the final game experience, it would look pretty strange having a bot going to a item that is very near to him, but behind a glass wall, so he uses a long path to it, while ignoring all "nearer", what means, "easier to reach, items.

yeah. I tried to use the path distance, but if i use the function from IntenseX for getting the path distance it gives me an error. I'll ask Larry about that. Maybe i would wait until you can download Zinc and the implement Zinc in you project.

yes.. i apologize.. it DOES go to the nearest item, just that it runs past nearer items as it goes along... could you have it checking while its running or would it be too slow? i also realized that intense x is already sffecting the framrate, should that happen? i only have 1 npc using it

A little bit of affecting the framerate is normal i think. I would wait for Zinc. Its much more cleaner than the current IntenseX.
