I am trying to import a model made in 3ds max 9 to WED and constantly have a problem with texture coordinates. Here is what I do:
1. Create a model in 3ds max, apply unwrapUVW modifier, make an unwrap and add texture.
2. export the model in .3ds format
3. import the model to MED (it has no texture), then press "Manage skins"->"New skin"->"Texture file"->select the image file (texture)->"Set skin" and the model is now textured. (scr. 1)
4. Export the textured model as .mdl file.
5. Import this .mdl to WED, select the model, click texture and set the texture. However, the texture is placed incorrectly all the time. it seams that UV coordinates don't work frown (scr. 2)
What should I do?? Has anyone face the same problem?

BTW, when I open the .mdl file back in MED, the texture looks fine and the coordinates are in position.

OMG, I've undersood my mistake lol. I didn't set the texture in Edit skin tool, now everything works fine smile false alarm smile If there is an admin at the forum, delete the topic please smile

Oh, another problem : when I try to build my level, the errror message appears "Error w072 block 0 - plane 19 - too narrow" . How can I deal with it? Is there a way to find this "plane 19" in a model of 8000 polys?
