yup they will but in my opinion it still doesnt look much better than 4, i mean, i have four running at max settings and it looks like this, dont pay attention to the level design.. am talkin texture wize... well am sure they'll be able to pack alot more on screen but am pretty sure the engine used fa cod4 could handle most of this...
i love call of duty BUT i hate scripted games, the snow mobiles are scripted to roll over, those men were scripted to fall down the hill, it was scripted that the mig blue up, every damn thing, down to enemy movement is scripted.... SUUURE, i know WHY they do it, doesnt mean i like the idea, they make it too obvious that the game is scripted...
i know they do it for immersion, so the player feels fantastic on his first play through but after a while it gets lame to the point where in cod4 i am shooting before entering rooms because i know bad guys spawn there...
afterall, i cant do this, i know that much, doesnt mean i cant be a crit... after beating the game, you'll probably find urself picking the fun missions rather than playing through it again... i was bored yesterday and took up cod4 on hard mode.. was doing great.... until i saw two guys in a small room... ok, easy, tossed a grenade in, two of em died.. trust me, am sure... i enter this room now, only to see that two NEW guys spawned then.. they pawned my ass... at that point, i got pissed at the game design and closed it... call of duty feels more like an arcade game than a war game.. and for that, am not greatly impressed by their game DESIGN not the technicalities because i know they have a powerful engine and work force.. just hate the scripted gameplay.. nothing to stop us from buying the game tho
DAMNN!!! this was long!!! lol sorry guys, i got a way.. lol, u kno how it is

Yes, CoD 4 was very smooth even on old systems. But I've heard rumors that they were using the CryEngine3 for CoD 6; This doesn't seem to be true, does it? (I mean, it looks incredible good, but the CryEngine got that special look...) no. they're using an improved version of the cod4- engine. in fact, the whole cod-series used the same basic engine, but got improved with every new part. (if my sources are right, that is.)

its not much better graphically in my opinion but after all, cod4 had pretty good graphics... To be honest, I don't think you can judge that by looking at this YouTube video. They seem to have paid a lot more attention to detail this time around for sure. I didn't quite like Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare though, but that had mainly to do with the arcade like gameplay and the horrible multiplayer that encourages spawn-camping and so on.. for example, cod terrains seem to be just models while cryengine uses a terrain engine... Which can be edgy just the same, so your point being? Of course this isn't made with the CryEngine, it's still the modified Unreal Engine 3. An engine only defines graphics for so much, after that it boils down to details. ( It's why a CryEngine game doesn't have to look like Crysis, and why Turok didn't look as pretty as Unreal Tournament III. ) i love call of duty BUT i hate scripted games, the snow mobiles are scripted to roll over, those men were scripted to fall down the hill, it was scripted that the mig blue up, every damn thing, down to enemy movement is scripted.... SUUURE, i know WHY they do it, doesnt mean i like the idea, they make it too obvious that the game is scripted... It does make it feel more realistic and gives the game a much more cinematic feel. Call of Duty 4 was praised to heaven for that, so I don't see why it matters, nor why they would even try to change that part of the game. To some extent it's what Call of Duty is famous for for crying out loud! :p But... I am not going to buy this game if it has only 4 hours of gameplay and about an hour of cinematics..
