No, im not afraid to tell my gf that if she gets too bad that its over. When i started dating her, i told her very clearly that in dating there is not only one option and if she ever became unreasonable I have no problem looking for someone else instead.

It seems to be working because as of yesterday we have been dating for 3 years.
