Looks nice, but it's not fun that you didn't take in account left handed people wink.

Thats a general gamedesign mistake.
I have also played games, wich seem to be made by lefthanded people,
putting the movement on the cursor while having to use the mouse.

There should be always WASD AND the cursorkeys in paralel.

Its easy to use paralel keyinputs, even easier than creating
a seperate key-configurator.

(not referring to the game here, just in general)

Im using my pencil in left hand, and rather have the arrows on my right, while the arrow keys work, tracktor beam and repair does not :P.

Thanks Guys!!

What control scheme are you most comfortable with Joozey?

Swinging asteroid and repair? What keys should they be for a left hander?

Yes, to be honest, I don't like the control scheme that much. I'm used to for example pressing the right mouse button to thrust forward. It really takes a while before I got used to aiming with the guns separately from moving around. It feels unnatural.

Apart from that the game is pretty good. I love the art and style.

Cool game, it's somehow like your "what games make fun" project.

I like the movement though, im a huge fan of games where the shooting direction and moving direction are seperated.

I do not agree with Phemox, and think separate aiming with mouse and moving with arrows gives much movement freedom. I don't mind geting used to it. But I'm now crossing hands over my laptop grin. The arrow keys do make the ship move, but there's no tracktor beam button near the arrow keys. So making shift be tracktor beam would practically solve the problem.
