wow, this looks by far like your best foliage/tree pack to date. looking at the screen for tree_02_b, the normals almost look sculpted this time? are you guys starting to do that? or did the gimp plugin just work really good for that particular scenario. Thanks. The bark is a mixture of 2 textures to have some more variety in the area of the roots compared to the rest of the bark. But it is not sculpted. We will use sculpting for some upcoming organic packs though.

cool. I tried sculpting out my trees, thinking it would be better because it would cause a more real look to the volume of the trees, but never even sold one  . I wanted to ask how you are mixing your normal maps, the technique I'm currently using is to over lay the r and g layers and multiply the blue layer, and supposedly it's not supposed to lose depth, but somehow I still do.
